I already missed most of these, but I picked up a free bookmark at the library and it advertised the fact that Masterpiece Theater was presenting "The Complete Jane Austen" beginning January 13 and running through April 6.  Here's the list of times for the movies that are upcoming:

Emma-March 23

Sense and Sensibility- March 30 and April 6.

I missed "Persuasion", "Northanger Abbey", "Mansfield Park" and "Pride and Prejudice"!  Wah!!

I believe they're on at 9 pm ET/PT.  It says they are new adaptations.

You can also go to pbs.org/janeausten

I hope I remember to watch the last two!

You didn't miss out on much by not seeing Persuasion and Mansfield Park, in my opinion. I am not a purist or really fussy about the movie matching the book entirely, but these to pretty much destroyed the spirits of these books (especially MP) and included some very silly elements. However, if you should chance to be able to watch them, your opinion might be entirely different from mine. I missed NA and Emma, but will watch them on DVD. So far S&S seems promising, although the jury is out until I see the second half.

I watched the two-part Sense and Sensibility and thought it was very good. Great actors and it stayed pretty close to the book. My library has them on order so I hope to watch all of them in the coming months.
