What can I say that countless people have not observed before. The language may sometimes be difficult to understand but it is always beautifully poetic. The stories run the gambit from humor to horror, love triangles, jealousy, revenge, even a bit of science fiction thrown into a swirl of history. Once your find your rythym they read easier. The abundance of famous quotes are like finding delightful treasures and somehow or other they make you feel smug about the whole thing. I attended the free open air shakespeare performances in our local park system this summer while reading the complete works of shakespeare. This year it was Hamlet, Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet. We enjoyed it throughly, partly due to the fact we preread of the plays before attending. The love of literature is not limited to a specfic age group. The attending audiences ranged from school age children to grandparents. So I respectfully suggest you turn off the TV or computer and read a familar play or two, after all other authors have been stealing this guys plots for years, you'll be surprised how fast the evening passes. Oh, and fellow reader, thou wilt find a bottle of ale accompanyeth it well.
