Picked up an interesting book Re/Uses by Jabs.  It's from the early 80s, but I think a lot of the hints are more from the 70s.

Just hit a page where they talked about composting toilets. Not outhouses (though they mention those--and say they are smelly), but indoor toilets.  I've never heard of such a thing.  I'm also not sure if it takes a year to reduce by 90%--while that's a great reduction, I wonder how big the tank has to be to store it all!

Anyone have one?  Anyone used one?

I have been interested in them, but I live in an almost city and I don't think they would allow me to have one yet :-( Also, my husband doesn't want me to have one :-( Eventually, though . . .
