I enjoyed this entry in the Frank Clevenger series immensely! I especially appreciated the quick pacing and smart plot. Dr. Ablow does a fine job of keeping you guessing, creating compelling characters, examining their motives without dragging it out, He throws in some really interesting and ingenious diagnostic scenerios. It is the proverbial page-turner, and I did indeed stay up late into the night to finish it. Highly recommended.
This book is time well spent, and like myself, you'll likely learn a few things along the way. What could be better?
An excellent psychological thriller. Kept me guessing, although close to the end I figured it out. I'm enjoying the Frank Clevenger character as much as ever.
Another awesome Frank Clevenger book. Loved it. Murder of infants on Nantucket lead Frank Clevenger to love, danger and mystery...just like always.
An excellent psychological thriller!! I have not come across a Keith Ablow book I did not enjoy.
good suspense thriller with lots of twists and turns you are not expecting
Keith Ablow is a new author for me and although his 1st book in the Frank Cleaver series is very dark and heavy, each book in the series gets better and better. This is the 3rd in the series.
A psychological thriller where you know the main suspect is innocent and can't wait for the real murderer to be found out. The story of a truly dysfunctional family.
Compulsion : A Novel
Helpful Score: 1
Good book could hardly put it down. Kept me wondering with all the twists and turns.
Excellent thriller. Read the whole series!
this was a great read, I had picked up this book on sale at a bargain book store, and was blown away but the creativity of the author.
It's a great read and I would suggest it to thriller lover's.
Keith Ablow is tops in the field of psychological mystery/suspense thrillers! I highly recommend any of his books! You won't be disappointed!!!
What a great book- lots of twist and turns.
i picked up this book after seeing the author on Oprah a few years ago. A really good book... kept me up late reading .... loved it :)
a master of psychological suspense. fast paced and frightening
Read this after Psychopath. It was good-takes place before that book. I seem to remember the narration changing from third to first person.
You kind of know who didn't do it if you read Psychopath...
This is one of my favorite authors. He captures psych perfectly.
I suggest reading the entire series. Great author.
Keith Ablow does it again. For those of you who've only read his later books, this is a must-read; it's the story of how Billy comes into Dr. Clevenger's life.
Interesting story of mental illness and family connections.
Ablow's books are entertaining & I usually am inclined to finish them but typically the ending disappoints. I keep hoping for something more from this writer...
I have a feeling when people describe Frank Clevenger as Keith Ablow's "alter-ego" the emphasis should definitely be on "ego".
Burdened by his own psychological scars, brillant forensic psychiatrist Dr. Frank Clevenger has endured the most extreme twists of the human mind. Then he receives a disturbing call from Nantucket's chief of police. The five-month-old daughter of prominent billionaire Darwin Bishop has been found murdered in her crib.
UTTERLY COMPELLING...A ROLLER COASTER OF A MYSTERY WITH HAIRPIN TWISTS AND TURNS THAT SHOCK AND ASTONISH....
keeps you guessing all the way thru the book. Who killed the 1 baby twin?
good mystery, full of surprises!
I up on this one, it just takes forever to get anywhere and it was so draggy I couldn't keep my eyes open
On to better books!
