This is a Penguin Classic - a most distinguished publisher and series. Lot of food for thought and growth.
St. Augustine's masterful biography. When he wrote this book, he was facing and responding to a growing spread of asceticism (self-denial) in the Roman world. This account is a search for truth by a sinner who became a great saint.
If you don't feel guilty already, you should read this book...
