I'm confused about these messages I got

it seems i order the book at 12:04am But I ws asleep at this time!

then at 2:53 I get a message saying the book cant be mailed

yet then I got a message at 9:22pm saying it was into the system

then it tells me I request book at 9:28pm

but here its only 7;22pm how can it be 9:28pm?

can anyone explain these messages to me?

is this the same book?

did you have it set to auto wish list?  if yes, then this is why it showed up like that....auto means it will request it for you as long as you have credits

Depends on where you are located. PBS is set to Eastern time...my books are always marked an hour later than when I really mailed them (or requested them or whatever) because I'm in Central time. This post wasn't really made at 11:31 pm...it's only 10:31 here. :)

Well first, is it a book on your WL?  On autorequest?  Or is it a book you've ordered recently?  If it's either one of those then when you ordered the book it went to Member A, who, at some point refused it, so it went to Member B during the night.  And it seems as tho they declined to send it, so it moved your request to Member C. 

Somewhere, either in your regular email, or your PBS transaction archive there should be mention of the name of the book.  On your account page there should be a tab where you can see books you've requested.  There will be a box off to the right that tells the time you requested it and it will say "waiting on member".  Is this a book you recognize?  Does it line up with one of the times you've been provided? 

There's not a lot of info in your OP to go on, but that would be where I would start in figuring this out. 

It sounds like this book was on your wishlist set to auto-request.  That means whenever it's posted, your account will automatically order it for you.

The times are in Eastern Time.  For me, its a hour time difference.  You must be in Mountain time since its two hours off.  Just factor in -2 hours every time you see a time.

AGAIN i DID NOT AUTO REQUSTED THIS book yes it was on MY WAIT List

the system told me it was available and did I want it? I clicked yes,, then it went to waiting for member

then about few minutes later I got a message saying it couldn't be mailed and would you like it on the wait list?

huh?  yet checking the transaction acitve it tells it COT CANCLED! YET

now club communications just    

told me it got mailed!

The only way a book could be ordered while you were asleep is if it was on AutoRequest.

If you had to accept the book, it wasn't on AutoRequest.   Can't be both.

It seems like whichever way the book was ordered, the person canceled and it was passed on to another member. OR, after the cancellation, it was removed from the person's shelf, they reposted it and it was  again offered AND accepted and they are now mailing the book to you.

Well the thing says 12:04 but for you it was probably 10:04. It's recording in Eastern Time.  Maybe the person who posted the book accidentally canceled it after you accepted the WL offer. Then reposted it or something.  It's only 9:19 where I am but the post will say 12:19.  Which is kind of cool because if I wait until just after 9 to accept a book request, I get an extra to pop in the mail. Not that I make a habit of this.
