I'm a little confused about RWAP where USPS was at fault - I just received a book that was packaged just fine but was crushed by the post office (as if the two short ends of the paperback had been squeezed together so the middle is all smushed, if that makes sense). Clearly, not a problem from the sender's perspective and I have no issue with the sender, but I marked the transaction RWAP and noted it was USPS's fault. Now I just got the same WL book offered to me - which makes sense, but I don't need another copy of the book. I went into my transaction archive just to confirm I was being offered the same book and noticed that the transaction is marked unresolved. My question is, what is there to be resolved here? The sender doesn't owe me a credit as far as I'm concerned, because it was the fault of the USPS. Any insight would be appreciated. |

This happened to me once. I didn't mark it as RWAP because the problem was obviously the post offices (they rewrapped my book and sent a note about damage en route). Since you did I think all you can do is mark it as resolved in the transaction archive and cancel the order for a second copy if you don't want it. |

Right - if there's nothing to resolve on the part of the sender, you should mark it resolved so the sender doesn't get a black mark. Then if you don't want the one on your WL, cancel it so it can go on to the next person. Pat |

If you are not expecting the sender to do anything, then you mark it as resolved. As for the reoffering of the WL, this now happens on all RWP, even if you had marked it resolved. They changed it so we no longer have to ask, we automatically go back to our previous place in line on any RWP WL transaction. |
