I have a book still under the "books to be mailed" tab that is also showing up as canceled in the transaction archive  I don't have to mark mailed till tomorrow night. Since it's been canceled, why is it still showing up under the tab.  and if it's been canceled, will it go back on my bookshelf in the first fifo position?

There would have been two orders.  Check to see if they are going to different people.  (You can press the PM button without sending a message.)

You can look at the details (look at the time stamp) in the TA and see that they are two completely different transactions that have nothing to do with each other.

If this was a wish list book, for example, your offer went to one member who didn't want the book.  As soon as she canceled, your book was offered to the next member in line.

Or if it was a regularly posted book, you were first in the sending line.  Someone clicked the order button and then canceled.  Then someone else (or maybe even the same person) clicked the order button again.

As Emily and Melanie said, they're two different transactions.
