SWORE I kept this one, but it wasn't on my "Romance" shelf where I thought I'd left it, so...
I read this back during my initial foray into romance, about ten or so years ago, so mid-'90's, but the book was a few years older, say 1985-1990 range.
Very short, and part of a monthly-release series.
I want to say it was Harlequin because of the cover design (it has the characteristic "red-bar" or "ribbon" at the top with the imprint in white script.)
It had to do with a female violin virtuosa writing and/or performing one magnum opus that I *believe* was in honor of her father. She shuts herself away feom the world at least in part in order to work, but I *believe* it's her music producer that brings her out of her shell.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Good luck! I've only read a couple of the old old ones. It might be easier for people to read if you edit your post and sorta separate the different ones out with maybe a 1st, 2nd or something..several here read a lot of harlequins so maybeyou'll have some luck. I've also posted for help on romantictimes.com message boards..they have a 'book sleuth' forum..haven't had much luck with my last request but it took about 2 years for someone to find the title for a harlequin I was looking for - turned out to be Janet Dailey!

I'm not trying to be mean or snarky or anything but, please, if you separate that into some paragraphs it's so much easier to read.  My eyes just want to skim over the whole thing because it's so hard to read all jumbled up like that.

I *am* sorry--my computer did that, actually. I *had* it separated, and I'll fix it shortly.
