So unbelieveable! He posted in a NY magazine for pen pals while he was in prison for 10 YEARS on a bank robbery conviction. She wrote to him because she thought it was so sad that he said he never got any mail. They corresponded for three years and he shows up on her doorstep the day he is released! She takes him in, then takes him shopping for new clothes, then asks him to stay at her place since he doesn't have enough money to get a place! She doesn't work because her parents are rich and they own the building where she lives rent-free so they have all day to shop, walk in the park, etc. The first love scene is so non-existent, I wonder why the author even bothered! Forget this book unless you want sappy, sweet and no sensuality.
