I don't know if anyone here is familiar with Dream Dinners--where you go to one of their locations and put together dinners and then bring them home and throw in the freezer. To me, they are a bit more "upscale" than the type of freezer dinners I'd usually make for myself.

I'm trying to become more a "slow food" movement person/cook and I'd love to find a cookbook that has similar ideas for freezer dinners--a bit more than the usual meatloaf and lasagna. Maybe a bit more sauces, etc. The big advantage for the Dream Dinners is that I'm not standing down and cooking all the food first and then freezing it. Some of the times the ingredients are raw or frozen to begin with.

Does anyone know of any cookbooks like that out there?

The founders of Dream Dinners have a cookbook:

Dream Dinners: Turn Dinnertime into Family Time with 100 Assemble-and-Freeze Meals
Author: Stephanie Allen, Tina Kuna

I have it on my wish list. The WL is rather long though. I think there are a couple of other similar books also. I will see if I can find the titles and post them if I do.
