Book has much info. on basic cooking equipment w/pictures and description, cooking basics, cleaning fresh produce, adding flavors to cooking, knife techniques, carving poultry, how-to-make gravy, etc. A lovely hardback book. A nice gift item for the beginner cook, or for a cook to add to his/her collection of cookbooks. The info. in book is great. Many good recipes.
