I had really looked forward to reading this book, since I was curious about the Harvey Girls and the Harvey House restaurants. I was not disappointed! Even though the characters are fictional, I learned so much about this little part of history.

Cooking Up Love is a sweet and exciting love story between Tabitha and Adam. There are lots of bumps, potholes, and spills along their road to romance. Many interesting side stories and characters keep everything moving along quickly.

Even though, this is a quick read, the author does a great job of delving into the minds and motivations of her characters. It is exciting to see the transformation of both Tabitha and Adam as they work through their problems and finally leave their lives in Gods hands.
