This book is intended to be read by kids and used by kids. There are many recipes which are laid out in a way that the author thought the children would find it easy to follow by themselves. The book contains not just food recipes to make and eat but also some educational information and experiments and some which are more fun as in the process of making it is fun or made child-like (making faces on food, for example). Sometimes history is thrown in. Sometimes they match a food to a holiday such as a honeydew melon flavored milkshake for St. Patrick's Day.
