Cobra Road About India

TAKEN  Bad Land by award winning writer Jonathan Raban

TAKEN  The Valleys of the Assassins is the classic by Freya Stark

TAKEN Into Thin Air : A Personal Account of the Mt. Everest Disaster by Jon Krakauer

SILKS, SPICES AND EMPIRE is a collection of travel narrative to Asia written thoughout history

Spirit of Place: Letters and Essays on Travel About various places in the Med. I can't believe this wasn't snapped up the first day I posted it. Durrell has a rep as a hard writer but this is readable

West with the Night Colonial memoir about growing up in Kenya and becoming pioneer woman bush pilot
