From the back cover:

Sometimes even the good guy gets to be bad

Off-duty detective Nik Angelis is the first on the scene at a wedding gone very, very wrong. The only witness is the caterer, a fiery redhead named J. C. Riley, who's eager to make her statement. So eager, in fact, Nik can't help thinking of other things she could do with her mouthâ¦

Sassy, smart-mouthed J.C. is in serious danger, and she knows it. She needs Nik's protection. But what she wants is his rock-hard body.

Nik aims to be professional, but "Bodyguard with Benefits"? A man can take only so much...

Book #2 in the Tall, Dark...and Dangerously HOT! trilogy. Brother Nick is a cop and on the scene at a wedding gone wring! Same day as Book #1, all three books are necessary to find out what happens. Good reading, sexy brothers!

this is the 2nd in a series of overlapping books. the PI is the first and the defender is the 3rd. the stories overlap and cover a weekend timeframe and they're best read together to get the complete story though each 'ends' ok for the 'romance' involved. steamy scenes typical of Blaze titles. this one's heroine is a saucy smartmouthed one but seems perfect for Nik.

This is the second in a trilogy about 3 Greek brothers finding love, and solving a murder. The first installment is the P.I. by the same author.
Okay read. Nothing spectacular.
