I am in wonder how an award-winning book with over 20 versions (ISBNs) and no wishers can have ZERO copies available.  Though it was first published over 50 years ago (1966), there are lots of versions reprinted since the 80's, one even in 2016.

At least half of the versions I looked at has wishers on them. It appears to be a sought after book and if anything gets posted on the non-wishlisted ISBNs the wishers on the other versions probably get the email for a similar version being posted and it gets ordered promptly so there would be no copies available on any of those either.

I have read that book. It's not that great in my opinion. It is probably read in college courses as it is connected to Jane Eyre.

I searched online and found a PDF version of the book. It's obviously not the actual book, but it's the full text, if you're just wanting to read it.

It's annotated and has both English & Spanish text.

Looks like Scribd.com also has a copy but you have to sign up; there's a free 30-day trial & it's $8.99/month for unlimited reading.

thanks for all the help.  When I checked multiple versions, they were showing 0 wishers, 0 copies posted, will check again.

Just ordered a copy from a vendor.......I checked here again and most ISBNs I checked showed 1 wisher-- me!

Bookclub is meeting a week earlier than usual, on 14 May, so I needed to get a copy fast.

It's a pretty short book. may only take a few hours to read it.

Yeah, it's relatively short, when I found that PDF last week I ended up reading quite a bit of it right then.
