Jayne Ann Krenz (aka Amanda Quick) does a good job of developing the platonic friendship of a man and woman into love. The man has a mysterious job and disappears for long periods of time---the woman writes science fiction novels. A trip to a South Pacific island and some harrowing escapades seal the deal. JAK did a nice job on this book.

Any enjoyable read from the always reliable JAK. Good strong characters, an interesting plot and nice locale. Perfect way to spend an evening or two.
