An enjoyable addition to the Fortune Teller series. Sunny Meadows is finally settling down in Divinity and her relationship with Detective Mitch Stone is moving along. That is until his ex shows up. Isabel dies soon after coming to town and Mitch is the number one suspect. The new mailman is putting moves on Sunny which causes more problems with Mitch. Sunny's grandmother comes to live with her with amusing results. Overall a good read. 3.5 stars

Enjoyed this little mystery even though I did figure out who the murderer must be. Just missed the connection to Mitch Stone, cop, with whom the heroine of the novel is in love. The tale is fast flowing and easy to read. However, I felt that the heroine was too flighty to assist the police force in investigating crimes. She seemed to be accusing every suspect except Mitch of the crime without thought of potential consequences. Loved the character of her grandmother whose feisty individualistic personality keeps everyone on their toes. It is a good easy read so if you like cozy mysteries you may wish to try this author. She writes a creditable and enjoyable story.

Mitch aka Detective Grumpy Pants has some serious competition for Sunny's affections in this, the second book in the " Sunny Meadows" series. I was able to spot the killer early on, but it did not interfere with the over all enjoyment of the book....A quick fun read that has a newly added character into the plot...Sunny 's grandmother...a real character....
