One of Barnard's many hilarious satires; this one skewers the British upper classes and their stately ancestral halls. If you like your mysteries witty rather than witless and you don't know Robert Barnard, you are missing out!

Robert Bernard is a wonderful mystery writer and transforms you right into the world he's describing.
