I thought Coloring Books did not meet PBS posting guidelings. However, one just showed up on the sign on page, on the highlighted books row, so I clicked it, then clicked 'coloring books' down in the genre, and 200 coloring books appeared! (most of them, granted, of the higher quality (such as Dover) or educational variety) What are the posting guidelines regarding coloring books, please? I think I am confused.

You are correct, Latricia, they are not postable. They can be added to the Report Suspicious Items Here sticky Thread at the top of the Questions Forum and the PBS Team will remove them. I think the problem is that folks see that there is an ISBN and find them in the data-base and think that just because they appear in the data-base, they are postable.

I have also seen a lot of these magazine type recipe books from the grocery store check out line posted as well. I got one, on a request one time. I know they aren't postable. So be careful.

Unfortunately a lot of unpostable stuff makes it into the database: calandars, coloring and puzzle books, pamphlets etc..., Some comes from people abusing the rules and some comes from the sources where PBS gets their ISBN/book info.  Obviously you can't report all 200 unpostable coloring books but you should repost at least some.
