1, I requested a book on 9/10 it then timed out as of 9/16 because the sender never accepted, printed or acknowledged the request. Now looking in my transaction archive it has the book with a red X by it, but what I don't understand it why there is a "was this received" tab next to it? If a label was never printed how can it be received? 2. Same book in question as above. Why is this members account still open for orders when my request for their book wasn't ever acknowledged by them? Shouldn't their account be placed on vacation? I guess I always thought if a request timed out because of no response from the sender, their account was placed on vacation hold until they logged into to reactivate their account. Is this not correct? |

1. Just in case the member mailed it off without marking it in any way. It's happened, though not often. 2. Missing just one mailing date isn't going to get a person's account put on hold. Real life things, emergencies, etc. can come up. It's completely annoying when one is on the other end of it, but as we ahve no idea wheat's going on on the other end of a trade, it's best (I've found) to be patient and understanding. TPTB don't say exactly what, or how many missed trandactions will put your account in real jeopardy, but it's certainly more than one. |

I didn't realize they never accepted at all (reading comprehension!). That is odd. |

Sometimes members ask for an address on a timed out order via PM. This is very rare, but has happened. The button is there for a just in case situation. |
