Helpful Score: 1
Plot: The plot of this story wasn't really anything special. In a lot of ways, it was very similar to the first book. It did have an interesting twist with Brandi's character though.
Characters: I liked the character development of this book. Since it was the second book in the series, we met the main character in this book as a supporting character in the last book, and the supporting characters in this book were the main characters in the last book. It was a good way to bring both stories full circle.
Themes: As evident by the title, the main theme in this book is changing and adapting to new things in life. Both Phil and Allison have a lot to deal with in even starting their relationship and they have to be willing and open minded enough to be able to change their ideas on things that may not have been as important as they originally thought.
Emotion: There wasn't really a lot of emotion in this book. It took me a little longer to read, too, because it just wasn't overly enticing.
Overall: This wasn't a bad book, but it also wasn't the greatest thing I've ever read. As I said, it took me a while to read because it wasn't all that exciting, but I didn't hate reading it.
