Well, I am not quite sure about this one. It is the first one not to end in a cliffhanger. And so many problems were resolved that it seems strange that this only the halfway point in this series of books. Still, it was an exciting book even if I am not sure where the series will go from here!

This was an interesting book of historic weather events around the world. The parts that will stay with me include the chapters about various invasions of Russia, the desert battle of Hattin during the Crusades, and how an El Nino contributed to Robert Falcon Scott's demise in Antarctica.
