when I try to post my book the cover typ only says hardcover. I have a paperback. There is no alternet  buttons for paperback. I dont want to mark this as the wrong cover type, what do I do?

If the ISBN# comes up with a different binding then the book you have then you post it without an ISBN.  PBS will assign a number to the book. The ISBN# and the binding have to match.

And if you decide to go ahead and post that incorrectly to the listing and leave it with it being the wrong listing, when the requestor gets that book, you will likely be out a credit. So, you really need to follow the rules and post it as if it has no ISBN (not saying you were going to, you just said you didn't want to, but just in case the thought crossed your mind again, and got stuck, I wanted to be sure you knew that the requestor can demand and you are required to return their credit for posting a book with the wrong binding.)

Publishers reuse ISBNs all the time, I once had an ISBN that was not only used for both the HC and PB, but also the omnibus of the first TWO books of the series. Boy, if THAT isn't confusing!!!

lol thanks. ill just post with no isbn then.  I was a bit confused when it came up as hardcover but its a rather old nurseing book so I bet they have a newer realease in hardcover.  Thanks agen!
