Till the Cows Come Home is the first book in the Stella Crown mystery series by Judy Clemens. This is a fast-paced mystery set on a working dairy farm in Pennsylvania. The characters are believable and the story is a good one. Stella (the main character) is an independent, determined, single woman who owns a dairy farm and likes to ride motorcycles. The local community is on edge as young children are getting sick from an unknown illness. Meanwhile, strange things are going on at Stella's farm that make her wonder if someone is out to get her, or trying to get her to sell her farm to the developers.
I went to high school with the author, which is what initially got me interested in reading this book. But I am not biased in saying that this is a good book and a recommended read if you like mysteries!
I plan to read the rest of the books in the series-Three Can Keep A Secret (2005), To Thine Own Self Be True (2006), The Day Will Come (2007), and Different Paths (2008).

An unusual book with a female dairy farmer as the main character. Gives a great insight on how they exist. It is a mystery since strange things begin to happen both to her and the livestock. Our heroine is plucky and sexy who also rides a Harley.
