One of the unsung heroes of the cyberpunk subgenre, Wilhelmina Baird just flat out rocks. She writes tight, snappy dialogue that clicks along at a breakneck pace. Crashcourse is one of her best.

A great beginning for the street-future series. Cass is definitely someone you care about in this cyber-tech world as people struggle to maintain their humanity in a culture where the majority seem to be sharks.
