My subject line says it all. I have a book that was requested, but there is a crease/fold in the front cover. The cover lays flat and it is completely intact, but has the white crease mark. It is about an inch wide at the top and come to a point about 4 inches down.

It sounds postable to me.  I'd send it but if you are worried, you can PM the requestor first and see if they have any issue with it.  If so, they can cancel the order.

Lauren, who loved the Twilight series!  :)

A fold in the cover is acceptable/postable and unless it looks like it is about to rip, don't worry about PM'ing the requestor.  If you do, this just opens up a can of worms and they might expect everyone to PM them about their books and then what if they don't respond?  Do you send anyway or cancel?

just some other things to think about

As long as it is not one of many problems making a book overly-worn it should be completely postable. I agree with Leslie that PMing a requester just causes a lot of headaches if they don't want it, if its postable send it, if they wanted in better than postable condition they should have RCs.

Thanks!! I'll send it out because otherwise the book is in fairly good condition and definitely postable.

Yes, it is absolutely fine to post.

Here is a link to the PBS book conditions guidelines if you want to read what is or isn't postable. http://www.paperbackswap.com/help/search.php?terms=Book+Condition+Guidelines

Hope you find something great to read with your new credit.
