Hi everyone!

I'm recently new to this sight, and have a question about a book I want to post.  The book is A Dangerous Love by Bertrice Small, which I am still currently reading, but I noticed that it is on a few peoples wish list.  I was planning on posting it after I finished it and then of course the unthinkable happened.  Someone sat on it!!!  Yep I know, how frustrating is that, when the book was in otherwise great condition.  It was probably my fault for leaving it on my sofa, but now it has a vertical crease on the back cover.  It is still very readable, and the crease lays flat, but you can still see that it was creased.  I know this site is mostly used books and are not expected to be in the best of condition, but I just wanted to get some feed back, and see how other people would feel if they recieved a book with a creased back cover.  The guidlines didn't go into much detail about this.  Should I just wait untill someone accepts it and then PM them about the condition?

Probably a silly issue, but I just want to make sure I am going by the rules, as I am still new.

Thanks,

Erika F.

I would think it's fine to post.  The cover isn't ripped, just creased.  I would be fine with it!  :)

Sounds like it's not a bad crease.  As long as there's no tear in the cover, it's perfectly fine to post it.  I wouldn't mind a crease, especially if the cover lays flat and the book is still in good condition.

You're right, it is a used book site so no one expects something in perfect condition.  I would certainly post it.  If you feel the crease might not be acceptable to the recipient, PM them before you send it out.
