Do you care if you recieve a book that's got a creased corner? DD was "helping" me and folded the top corner of a book I'd just finished.  It's not a big crease, more like what you'd find if someone had dog-eared a page.  It's a WL book, in great condition except  that.  I know it's postable, just looking at other's opinions.         I don't even know why it's bothering me, to be honest, so I thought I'd ask :)

I think that will be okay.  I know if I WL'd a book and got one with the cover corner creased, I wouldn't care.

Wouldn't bother me in the least.

I like my books to be as perfect as possible, but what you're describing sounds like ordinary wear and tear.  I would be really annoyed with myself if I accidentally creased the cover of a new book, but wouldn't be bother about receiveing a used book with a few dings in the cover.

It wouldn't bother me unless it was like folded in half.  Sounds like normal wear to me and it should be fine. Usually people who are really picky about their books will have conditions anyway.

This is a used-book swapping site; books are not expected to be in like-new condition.

  • Older books may have some page yellowing or spine-creasing or dogeared pages; these are all OKAY.

To be on the safe side you could PM the person who accepts the order just to let them know.

A creased corner wouldn't bother me. I've sent and received books with them. But when I send books out, I make sure all pages and the cover are folded flat again. It just makes for a neater appearance.

A small fold is not  a big deal to me.

I couldn't care less, myself. As long as I can read the book!

1 creased corner wouldn't bother me, I'd just unfold it and pile a bunch of other books on top of it, until it was less creased:)

It wouldn't bother me at all.  I vote for sending it!

Nope - wouldn't bother me.  It fits posting guidelines - post it!

Wouldn't bother me either! There are a few that expect the books to be new but if they do it should be in their conditions.

Thanks, everyone!  I asked for opinions, and got 'em!  I'll be posting the book next week.   Thank you :)

I would post that book.  On the other hand, I had one that had the back cover folded with a SHARP crease in half - vertically.  The crease was severe enough that it affected the way the book handled when I read it (and I did read it!).  I didn't post it - I gave it away.

I'm probably more concerned with the condition of my books than most, but that wouldn't be a huge deal for me.  It could get that just coming through the mail.  I've received much worse and not complained:)
