Very nice book, with colorful and large pictures, about the height of a hardcover book, but several inches wider, and these make it very easy to follow the directions. I made the containers (page 41) with clear glass, layered rock, moss, and soil, and planted different herbs in each container. They look absolutely beautiful in my kitchen window. I then made smaller ones with violets planted in them for my bathroom. They look so charming!

I also made the window ledge (page 77) for the outside of the windows, planted red geraniums in each pot, and they are gorgeous, plus the holder for the pots was incredibly easy to make and looks like something a professional did.

Highly recommended book. Lots of great ideas that you can follow exactly or tweak to make them your own.
