I haven't posted in a long time so please forgive me if I'm doing this wrong or in the wrong section.

I know in the past, I was able to borrow a credit from a member and pay it back. Can I still do this? I have a surprise (rare) book that just became available and I just spent my last two credits. I currently have a book I'm in the process of getting credited for (currently on wish list hold) so I definitely have the credit coming.

Can someone tell me if/how this process can be done?

To answer your question, credit borrowing can be done in the Book Bazaar (only in that forum) and the rules for doing so are in the red sticky thread towards the top of that forum titled "How to use this forum...".

Thank you Melanie. I'll try to remember about the book bazaar for future reference.

I have received the credit. Thanks everyone.

In addition to checking out the Book Bazaar like Melanie suggested, also keep in mind that you can purchase credits.  If something pops up unexpectedly and you don't have credits, you can go to the kiosk and purchase credits there.  That is probably more expensive per credit than the book bazaar, but the resource is there if you find yourself in this kind of situation.

Or, purchase credits from another user int the Bazaar.  A lot of us send out a lot of books, and we need postage $$ for sure!

I hope I never get in the position where I am short on credits.  I get nervous when my credits get under five and I usually end up buying some in the bazzaar.
