Dr. Sheila Tao, professor of psychology, has to end her affair with her teaching assistant, Ethan Wolfe. Her fiancée, Morris, is a sweet man who would move the world for her. The one thing between them is Taos secret, shes a sex addict. She relapses and that is how her affair started but now she wants to move forward with her life and come clean to Morris. Ethan is not alright with this. No woman EVER rejects him. He attempts to blackmail Tao and when that doesnt work he decides to kidnap her and kill her.

Psychologically this is a fantastic book. From the first pages we dive into each of these personalities. The interaction is fascinating. Tao runs the gauntlet of emotions. Happiness with her fiancée but guilt for the lies and the affair. Fear of Ethans intensity to lust for his sinful body. Ethan is a sociopath and we see his disconnect from reality throughout Creep but we also start to feel that something or someone else is playing a factor in all of this. Morris is the rock to Tao. She helped him sober up but is also the reason he falls off the wagon. His undying devotion to Tao, even after the lies are revealed, makes you believe maybe love can conquer all.

Hold on to your horses and get ready for a psycho-thriller ride that you will not forget! Hillier has officially CREEPed me out! Hillier gives a spin to the student-teacher relationship that starts as lust but turns into a womans worst nightmareto be kidnapped and chained to a bed with a sociopath leaning over you and telling you not to worry, he isnt going to rape youhe is going to kill you. A must read for all thriller lovers. This ending will just KILL you!

Hillier does an excellent job at her debut novel, however, the ending was left pretty open-ended. I am hoping that is because she was leaving herself enough room to write a sequel to Creep, and that's just not the way the book ends, so we will see!

The title is totally fitting for the entire book, and you will see that early on. Everything about this book is creepy, from the characters to the happenings within the book!

The story line is a great story, which leaves you absolutely certain that you know what is going to happen, that is until it does, and you sit back and say, whoa...I totally didn't see that coming!

Overall, if Creep is any indication of Jennifer Hillier's writing abilities, I will be watching for future releases from her! I think she has such potential to be an amazingly successful mystery and suspense author and can't wait to see what else she has up her sleeve!

Love, love this author now! I was concerned about reading this one second, as I started with Freak. But this is a great book and stands alone fine on it's own! Fast-paced, page turning, good thriller mystery.

Dr. Sheila Tao is a respected and loved professor of psychology who loves her job. When she catches her husband of ten years having an affair with his scrub nurse, she decides to start fresh. But her emotions are too raw and her life spirals out of control. She becomes addicted to sex, with anyone, anywhere. When she wakes up after blacking out one morning, she realizes she has a problem and goes for help. It's a long process, but she's doing better, especially with the help of her therapist.

But she can't resist the charm of Ethan Wolfe, one of her students and her TA. They are having a whirlwind of an affair, but when the man Sheila has been dating for a year, Morris, asks her to marry him, she knows she has to call it quits with Ethan.

However, Ethan doesn't like being disposed of and doesn't see what Sheila loves about Morris, a rich man who is several pounds overweight. He decides to take control of the situation. Sheila is worried he'll post the sex tape they made and ruin her career. But worse, she's worried Morris will find out she was cheating on him.

When a body of one of her students washes up, murdered, Sheila is shaken. But then to find herself being stalked by Ethan, she brazens it out and decides to call his bluff. A pawn in his game, she has no idea she has just put her life on the line, much to Ethan's sociopath glee.

A page-turning, nail-biting thriller that will leave you on the edge of your seat, Creep has it all. Police procedural, horrific crime scenes, creative and diverse characters, romance and dark secrets. With a surprise ending, readers will be clamoring for the next in the series, Freak, to see how it all pans out. I can't wait to read more from this riveting and thrilling writer!

Oooohhh this book was creepy! I got it based on a search cause I was looking for a good psychological thriller. I did not see it coming how this story turned out. I wanted to dislike the main character b/c yeah, she cheated on her nice guy but nobody who ever cheats would expect to go through something like this. Very enjoyable read. Had some good supporting characters too.
