What a wonderful series. I had never read this author before and I was absolutely enthralled. It's a wonderful look at life in the early 1900s and very well written. I wish I would have read the series in order but I've immediately ordered the other books in the series. If you like Victoria Thompson's series of life in New York, you'll enjoy this one too. If you haven't read Victoria Thompson, read those too.
