Beautiful, thought-provoking novel occurring in Tallahasee during the turbulent 1960's. The narrator reminds me so much of myself at that age. Just loved it.

I enjoyed this book, although it's not usualy the type of book I read. It paints a picture of what life was like in the early 1960s in Tallahassee, FL, told from the perspective of a little girl.
