McCarthy at his best, redefining spare prose. CM says more with black and white (and innumerable shades of grey) than most authors will ever say with colorful language.
A Stark and gripping tale of young cowhands coming of age and beyond in the southwest borderlands.

Not as good as All the Pretty Horses, but still well worth the time to read and savor the wonderful prose.

Wonderful, engaging sequel to All The Pretty Horses. This is McCarthy at his best.
