The ninth book in the series. While I couldn't wait to read it, I was a little disappointed in the ending. I still hope there will be more to come from Cynthia Baxter.

Jessie does not practice veterinary medicine in this book. She plays a sleuth. Lots of great characters to place the blame on. Keeps you guessing till the end.
