A couple of years ago in the Hidden Gems forum a thread was run for books with crumbling mansions being an integral part of the story line. Any new suggestions?

This suggestion doesn't have a crumbling mansion, but a crumbling abbey, which is an intergal part of the mystery.  The title is "Jane and the Ghosts of Netley"  by Stephanie Barron.  Netley is the name of the Abbey.  I've put in a link to the author's page describing the book if anyone is interested.  I highly recommend this book and the entire series.  There are 8 copies currently available at PBS with the ISBN 0553584065

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. Great Gothic mystery!

Any books by Barbara Michaels, who is also known in mystery circles as Elizabeth Peters.

If you haven't read any of Kate Morton's books, do so! The Forgotten Garden is my favorite! Yes, a house plays a big part in the story.
