The honorable judge Sherman O'Dell has given former lawman Farley Dant a choice: be hanged for murder or become His marshal is Crush,Texas. It's a bitter choice because Farley knows he's dealing with the most crooked politician this side of Dallas. O'Dell has his fingers in everything-banks, real estate, the new saloon and dance hall.
