As always, Wilbur Smith delivers a fast paced tale with many surprises. This was an area of history that I had little knowledge of and I found it fascinating.
This is a pre WWII mystery taking place with the Italian invation of Ethiopia. An American and an Englishman take on the mission of delivering 4 ancient refurbished armored cars and an American Journalist, for a small fortune in gold. They are delivered into danger, intrigue and a struggle for their own lives.
A non-stop action thriller. He has written many adventure/thriller books and is a NY Times bestselling author.
