AN IMPROPER BEGINNING...
Miss Georgiana Halliday never expected that an accidental meeting with her old acquaintance, the notorious Lord Warwick, would end in a passionate kiss. Common sense decrees that she put the impetuous embrace out of her mind at once, especially when she should be occupied in helping her dear, unconventional friend Marigold out of a precarious fix. Not easily accomplished when every meeting with Garth stirs up feelings that are quite distracting...if maddeningly delicious.
...TO A PERFECT ROMANCE
Garth had long wondered whether he would enjoy kissing Georgie. The fact is that he likes it far too well. However, Garth's reputation has been ruined by the ton's gossip-mongers, and it is hardly fitting for a rake to offer courtship to a respectable young lady with responsibilities of her own. But Cupid will not be so easily denied, and when Georgie becomes entangled in a scandal of Marigold's making, Garth seizes an opportunity to offer her his assistance...and, if the lady is willing, his heart...

Helpful Score: 1
A light-hearted story in an English Regency Period setting. The plot is slightly more earthy than some Zebra Regency novels I have read, but still nothing too risque for most teen readers. The characters are pretty believable for a book this light and short, and it shows a sense of humor that isn't juvenile. I found it to be a pleasant read.
