I really love both Washington Poe and Tilly Bradshaw. They are a couple of my favorite fictional characters. A large portion of this tale is set in the Islands of Furness (which are real and fascinating!) though Montague is fiction according to the author's note. I loved the atmosphere of this 3rd in the series and as always, the interaction between the characters and a twisted plot. However, I didn't like this one quite as well as the first two. I will be reading the next book and we'll see.
