I didn't even think about it before I posted a boxed set of books I just entered the ISBN on the bottom of the box. It went immediately on hold for a WL now I'm wondering if I'll get credits for each book or just 1 credit for the set?  Its my mistake so I will honor the request with no grumbling but if I offer sets in the future shoould I list each book separately?

Hi Tracey, the system only does one credit for one ISBN so posting the set as one will only earn you one credit. Its a drawback on the book system not being able to know the number of books in a set. You could let the person who accepts the offer that you made a mistake and didn't realize you'd only get one credit and then cancel the transaction. You can even offer them first dibs on the set with a deal of a credit or two off the total, but you certainly don't have to give up the set for less that its worth just because you didn't know the system worked that way.

You can list each book separately, of course the set could get ordered by more than one person, or you can offer the set in the Book Bazaar or the Genre Forum if there is a thread to offer books in it (Genre forums shouldn't have bookshelf offers unless there is a dedicated thread, it clogs them up too much for discussions).

You don't have to honor the request. You didn't realize. I had someone cancel for that reason once (funny, I just said in CMT I couldn't remember any cancelations but here I am remembering one). Kind of disappointing, but at the same time I understand and would probably have done it myself once I realized the mistake.

I agree it is OK to cancel if you need to, also.
