This is the first time I've attempted to use the Custom DC feature.  I joined one of the October games and decided to print out the postage for the books for my game-buddy using PBS.  However, it only printed the delivery confirmation (duh, custom DC, right?)  but I wanted the postage on there too.  I figured it would put it on there because it asked me how much my package weighs, but it didn't.

So, my question now is, what do I do with this package now?  Do I just add the Media Mail rate of postage, or do I have to add more?  Is it ok to cover up the part that says Delivery Confirmation .18 paid?

And in the future, how can I get a label that prints out Postage AND Delivery Confirmation?

Sorry to rush the requested answers, but I want to mail this out today (and as part of the game rules, I have to mail it out by tomorrow at the latest.)

Hi, Robin!  All you need to do is add the Media Mail rate of postage, plus the 18 cents for delivery confirmation and you're good to go.

At this point, the only way to get DC and printed postage is if you're sending a book from your shelf.  The way that people have been getting around this for games is by adding the book to your shelf and using the "Send to a friend" button.  DON'T do this with a wishlist book, though, or it will get requested immediately!

If it's a wishlist book you're trying to mail, you can post a "dummy" book to your shelf that has lots of copies in the system and pretend that you're mailing that book to a friend.  If will show up in your account as the dummy book, so you do have to remember what swap it was for.

ETA:  We hear that printable postage with custom DC is in the works...     :)
