This book is the closest you can get to a screwball comedy and still be a mystery. It begins with Leonidas Witherall being found lying, presumably dead, under a parked roadster. What comes next is one crazy situation after another as Leonidas, also known as Bill for his resemblance to a bust of Shakespeare, next wakes up in a strange house staring at a corpse. And that's just the first 20 pages! This is a very funny book and, in my opinion, the best of the series. Well worth the read if you enjoy comic mysteries.

Why is Leonidas under the roadster?
