It's almost impossible to cook for just two people. So the inlaws and I are taking turns cooking supper for each other. Less cooking, less housework (or so it seems), and great conversation. We live a street away so we just walk so no added gas |

Sherry, That's so great. My MIL passed away 6 years ago and I really miss her. I'm glad you have that kind of relationship. My next door neighbor and I made a meal together. It only took a little longer to double and we had fun working together. Sometimes life is too busy to just get together with friends, so this can be a good alternative. |

this is a common solution for military families when the hubbies are deployed at the same time. That way you don't have to cook and clean up the kitchen EVERY night and you get some respite from being alone with your kids every night. |
