I have read The Da Vinci Code but nothing else by him. Should I start with Angels And Demons or can I start with either of the other Robert Langdon books? I have all 3, but for some reason I don't seem to want to read Angels. Please advise. |

I don't think it's necessary to read them in order. no real connections among the plots.

He has a lot more than 3 books, and while most of them are somewhat similar in concept/theme, they do not have to be read in order. In some of the more recent books with Langdon, there are some very brief/vague references to events in earlier books. If you've read the books you'll recognize it, but if you don't or haven't, it does not really matter to the book at hand. I thought "Angels and Demons" was one of his better books, BTW; I read DaVC first, then the earlier ones. And all the newer ones that are more recent... He also writes as Philip Carter. just read Alter of Bones and enjoyed it. Although it isn't a Langdon book, it was centered around an old Russian folk tale about a fountain of youth. |

just curious, where did you hear that Philip Carter is Dan Brown? |

I just looked up Phillip Carter's website and if you read his bio it says that Phillip Carter is a pseudonym for an internationally renowned author. It's interesting that they will not let you know who the renowned author is and Dan Brown's website doesn't tell you either. It's funny how some authors treat their pseudonym's as top secret. |
