This was quite an illuminating book. A real gossipy rag but does the author write 'gossip'?..... methinks not - she gives credits for the quotes she uses plus she has a very comprehensive bibliography. Despite the image the Duchess of Windsor wanted to present after reading this book, and many others about her, she really was just a low life, money grabbing, power seeking woman .... albeit with excellent taste in jewelry and clothing. This is a quick and easy read that holds you attention.
