I know the site has been glitchy all week, but here is something I ran across today.  (Not complaining! I love it here!!!!)

I checked the transaction details on a book I sent with DC.  It looks like it hasn't been scanned at all.  I know that can happen, but I was bored, so just for grins, I went to usps.com and put in the tracking code and it was able to give me info as of today.

Anyone else had this?

I noticed the last couple of days that it seemed to be taking longer than usual for PBS' DC info to "catch up".  That's just anecdotal, of course, but maybe there's some lag in the system somewhere?

Hhmm, I mailed 5 yesterday with DC (all scanned at the PO) and all of the credits came through this morning at 4am. Maybe yours caught got caught by a hiccup.

I had the same thing happen. If I check the package here at PBS, the last scan is

6/2/2008 10:13 PM - Enroute - PHILADELPHIA,PA

But if I check at the USPS site, there's an additional scan:

Processed, June 04, 2008, 4:54 pm, GRAND RAPIDS, MI 49599

Processed, June 02, 2008, 9:13 pm, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19176

I already had my credit (I used PBS postage) but there's a delay - not sure if it's a temporary glitch or just a normal delay. The post office doesn't always send out scans until the evening hours, so you can never tell when the scans will come through.
