With three years of my life spent in VN during the war, I was blown away by this book. With friends like this, who needs enemies. The feelings for America expressed by the spy seem very hard to believe given the role he played in the war. The story is well told with an immense amount of detail that makes it hard to disbelieve. I respect and understand his nationalism but abhor his duplicity. But, he was, in the end, the winner but...
